Welcome to my photograph collection of the railway scene in Carnforth and the Surrounding Area. Photo's depict trains and railway infrastructure.
The Area covers form Morecambe & Heysham in the South, Arnside to the West, Wennington to the East, Milnthorpe to the North and the main subject Carnforth in between.
The only TOC depot at Carnforth is for West Coast Railway Company based on Jenson Way, Crag Bank.
Carnforth railway station is run by Friends of Carnforth Railway Station Trust Co. It is where the film Brief Encounter was made and the station has a museum and cafe dedicated to this.
